Anyone who gives you a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven is a friend for life

Cinnamon Leaf

Cinnamon Leaf Oil is still a very appreciated material in fragrances, but also in Food and Feed industry.

An agricultural country whose chief crop is rice, Sri Lanka is known for spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, pepper and clove.

Due to its high eugenol content, it is used in fruit flavours such as cherry or raspberry, as well as chocolate. It blends well with benzaldehyde, cinnamic alcohol and aldehyde, vanillin and even with peppermint and ionones.

In perfumery Cinnamon leaf oil is appreciated for its warm woody-oriental note.

Currently it is in a short supply and prices are gradually increasing.

Also the season is over and next harvest is in mid June. We expect further price increase in coming weeks.

With this little comments aro’green would like to always be ahead of the curve when it comes to its raw materials.
